File storage duration depends on your plan. Each plan provides its own storage and retention limits.
Can I password-protect a link?
Yes. You can protect shared links with a password so only people with the password can access the file.
Can I set an expiration?
Shared links automatically expire according to your plan. Free transfers expire after 3 days, Pro after 7 days, and Business after 14 days.
Can I resume an interrupted upload?
Yes. AboveShare supports resumable uploads, so if your upload is interrupted, you can continue from where it left off without having to start over.
What happens when someone downloads my file?
The recipient accesses your shared file through its secure link. Your original file remains stored in our Space, while the recipient downloads a copy without needing access to your account.
How secure is it?
AboveShare is built around private sharing and direct-to-Space uploads. Files are uploaded directly to our Space instead of being routed through our web server, reducing unnecessary handling of your files.
